Greg Sohl presented a mostly demo-based session on using profiling tools to measure .NET application memory usage and isolate memory issues. The session also demonstrated how working in harmony with the Garbage Collector can reduce your application's memory footprint even without having to change the number or size of the actual allocations performed. 3 tools were demonstrated: .NET Memory Profiler from SciTech, Ants Profiler from Red Gate Software and the CLR Profiler 2.0 from Microsoft. The session was very lively with lots of questions and interaction.    Report
